This year, join me in trading the city for a mountain getaway — crisp Autumn air, a classic 5 bedroom cabin-style home surrounded by pine trees, golden hiking trails around the mountains and Lake Arrowhead lake, and star-drenched nights full of belly laughter, presence and good vibes.
Arrowhead is about 1.5 hrs outside of LA!

I know it’s hard for everyone to take this much time off work/life, so it’s okay ofc if you can only join for a day trip or 1 night

What we’ll be doing
Afternoons
Explore trailheads and nature walks in crisp, autumn pine air… or hang at the house and bbq / play games, etc. if hikes aren’t your thing!
Wander through the local Twin Peaks Farmers Market for seasonal produce & goodies (on Thursday)
Evenings
Cook family-style dinners together in the kitchen
Board games, joints, s’mores and fireside laughs
Craft autumn-inspired cocktails
Dance in our cozies without a single care in the world, under the stars
Listen to music & soak in the jacuzzi beneath the trees
A must on the drive up (or down) / stop at Oak Glen Apple Orchards for fresh hot cider, jams, honey and warm baked donuts & pies to kick off (or close) the trip in the sweetest way
The Stay
We’ll be nestled into a classic Lake Arrowhead cabin — tucked among the pines with all the touches: Pinterest worthy deck with a hot tub in the forest, a sauna, game room, private lake access trailheads, a firepit and cozy, bohemian “mountain-chic” interior. The house balances peaceful seclusion and modern comfort, surrounded by towering pine trees with plenty of space for us and Taliesin (and his friends!) to wander.
… Yes, she is pet friendly! so bring your fur babes too (just let me know beforehand so I can give the homeowner a heads up)

+ Autumn has arrived
Expect cold nights, possibly some rain or drizzle, frost, maybe light snow flurries — especially early in the morning or late at night! The leaves will have changed into sprinkles of orange, red and yellow and the sky will be clear bright with twinkling stars (goodbye, LA smog).

Transportation
I will be renting a Jeep and driving up on Monday morning with Taliesin; we’re stopping at the Glen Oak Apple Orchard along the way! If you wanna carpool & join us, let me know
